There are three ways to set data retention policies on your files:

  1. Setting a channel expiration period
  2. Setting a file expiration period
  3. Setting an expiration period per folder

Setting a channel expiration period

To set a channel expiration period, you must first go into your desired channel. From here, you must select Options and select the Channel Expires option.

Once selected, click the calendar icon and find your desired channel expiration date. Hit Save to submit changes.

Setting a file expiration period

To set a channel expiration period, you must first go into your desired channel. From here, you must select Options and select the File Retention option.

Once selected, set the automatic expiration period for your files. Hit Save to submit changes.

Setting an expiration period per folder

To set a channel expiration period for your folders, you must first go into your desired channel. From here, you must select Files and select See file options for your desired folder. Select Edit Retention Policy and choose the option the expiration period of your folder contents.

Once selected, hit Save. The calendar icon on your folder's panel will confirm and display the expiration period set for the files within the folder.
