1. What This Feature Does
The Manage Subscription page allows administrators to control subscription-wide behaviors that apply across all users and channels in TitanFile.
These settings define how the platform behaves at a global level, including:
- Channel naming rules
- Email notification behavior
- Export capabilities
- Access to core features like the Files Panel
You can enable or disable features that impact all users across your organization.
2. Who Can Use It
- Admin users can configure subscription settings
Plan-Based Behavior
For Non-Enterprise Plans
- Settings apply across the entire subscription
- When enabled, they are enforced for all users
- Users cannot override these settings
For Enterprise Plans
- Settings act as feature controls (similar to admin configuration)
When a setting is:
- Enabled → The option becomes available to assign in Manage Roles
- Disabled → The option is not available anywhere in the system
Important
- A setting must be enabled here before it can be assigned to a role
- For full control, settings should be managed through custom roles
3. Step-by-Step Instructions

4. What Happens After
For Non-Enterprise Plans
- Settings are applied across the entire subscription
- All users are affected immediately
- Users cannot override these settings
For Enterprise Plans
- Settings act as feature availability controls
When enabled:
- The feature becomes available in Manage Roles
When disabled:
- The feature is not available anywhere in the system
Important Behavior
- Changes take effect immediately across:
- All users
- All channels
- If a feature is disabled:
- It will not be visible or usable anywhere in the platform
- If a feature is enabled:
- It must still be assigned through Manage Roles to be usable (Enterprise)
5. Best Practice for Enterprise
To manage subscription settings effectively:
Enable Features Intentionally
- Only enable features that align with your organization’s workflows
Use Manage Roles for Control
- Enable features here
- Then assign access through Manage Roles
Avoid Over-Enabling Features
- Too many enabled options can lead to:
- Confusion
- Over-permissioning
Communicate Changes
- Notify users when enabling or disabling features that impact workflows
