1. What This Feature Does
The Bulk User Actions feature allows administrators to perform actions on multiple users at once within the Manage Users page.
This helps streamline administrative tasks such as:
- Resetting passwords for multiple users
- Resetting Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) devices
- Unlocking user accounts
- Updating user roles
- Removing users in bulk
Bulk actions improve efficiency when managing large groups of users.
2. Who Can Use It
- Admin users can perform bulk user actions
Plan-Based Behavior
For All Plans
- Admins can perform bulk actions on users within their subscription
For Enterprise Plans
- Access to user management actions is controlled by role permissions
- If a user does not have the required permission in their assigned role:
- The action will not be available to them
Important
- Bulk actions apply to all selected users at once
- These actions are immediate and cannot be undone
- Care should be taken to ensure the correct users are selected
3. Step-by-Step Instructions
A. Select Users for Bulk Action
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Manage Users
- Select one or more users using the checkboxes in the table
B. Open Bulk Options
- Click the Bulk Options dropdown
C. Choose a Bulk Action
Select one of the following actions:
Reset Passwords
- Sends password reset instructions to all selected users
Reset 2FA Devices
- Clears the current 2FA configuration
- Users will be required to reconfigure 2FA on next login
Unlock Users
- Unlocks all selected user accounts
- Restores login access immediately
Update User Role
- Allows you to assign a new role to all selected users
Remove Users
- Permanently removes all selected users from the subscription
⚠️ Important:
- Bulk removal does not support channel transfer
- If a user owns channels:
- You must remove them individually to transfer ownership
D. Confirm the Action
- Review your selection carefully
- Click Confirm
- The action will be applied immediately to all selected users
💡 Changes are applied instantly. There is no Save button.
