What is a Bcc Channel?
A Bcc Channel works similarly to the Bcc function in email. It's a handy feature that lets you send the same message or file to multiple people simultaneously, without revealing the identities of Channel contacts to the rest of the group.
**Note: As part of our commitment to enhance the user experience and maintain the true nature of Bcc, we've made changes to the Bcc feature. Now, when a channel is set as a Bcc channel, the contents automatically become 'read-only' for non-administrator users. This means that only channel managers or admins will have the capability to add messages and upload files to the channel. Non-channel managers or non-admins will only have viewing rights and can download files, but they won't be able to add or upload any new content.
How to Create a Bcc Channel?
To convert a regular channel into a Bcc channel, navigate to the channel's 'Options' tab, and check the box labelled "Bcc channel." Don't forget to hit "Save" to apply these changes. Remember, once you convert a channel to Bcc, the 'read-only' mode is automatically enabled.
