It's not uncommon for sensitive documentation to be the focal point of cyber attackers. The question is: how does TitanFile protect against it? On TitanFile, all file types are uploadable and downloadable in addition to being automatically encrypted at rest, end-to-end, and in transit. When it comes to security, you can rest assured your files are protected.
TitanFile uses Clam AV, an antivirus engine for detecting trojans, viruses, malware & other malicious threats, to automatically scan files the moment they are uploaded. If a virus is detected, TitanFile's system quarantines the file and it becomes inaccessible to the recipient. Additionally, the notification system alerts the user, and subscription administrators, of this activity.
*This process is utilized for file sizes up to 100 MB.

Next Steps
If you receive a notification that a virus was quarantined, the next step is to request a clean file from the sender. However, each organization and user is different. You may need to contact your administrator for the next steps to comply with company policies and procedures.
