For an extra layer of protection for your account, you can enable two-factor authentication.
TitanFile's two-factor authentication feature allows you to authenticate into your account using SMS, voice calls, emails, authenticator apps, or Duo.
You can decide which will work best for you.
**Note: This feature is currently in beta and is not enabled on your subscription be default. Please contact us to have it enabled.
Once the feature is enabled, you can go to Options > User Profile and click on the Enable Two-Factor button to begin the setup process.
Select from the list of Two-Factor Authentication options:
SMS, Voice, and Email
You'll receive a PIN each time you log in to your account. You can enter the PIN when the verification prompt comes up.
Authenticator app
You can connect TitanFile to any authenticator app by scanning the barcode provided by the Authenticator app setup.
Once you're all set up, a PIN will be sent to your Authenticator app each time you log in. You can enter the PIN when the verification prompt comes up.
Duo push
You'll be required to install the Duo Mobile app on your mobile device. After you've finished the set up, you'll be provided with two options: Duo Push and Passcode.
Using the Duo Push option, a push will be sent to your mobile device via the Duo Mobile app. You can approve the login from your phone.
Using the Passcode option, a passcode will be sent to you via SMS.
Changing your two-factor authentication method
To change your two-factor authentication method, go to Options >> User Profile and click on Edit TFA Settings.
