The below steps address common errors such as delayed PIN delivery, email rejection errors, and missing email notifications. Before contacting support@titanfile.com for assistance, make sure you have reviewed the troubleshooting steps below:
Troubleshooting Steps
1. Check your Spam/Junk email folder
- Sometimes, certain email clients do not recognize emails from titanfile.com. If you find TitanFile messages in your Spam or Junk folder, add the relevant notifications@titanfile.com to your email contacts, or Safe senders list. This will allow most mail clients to recognize TitanFile emails and deliver them to your Inbox.
2. Firewall, Domain Filter, or Email Security Policy
- Check if your firewall or virus scan is blocking the email notifications. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP), Corporate IT department or external users and ask that emails from the following domains be whitelisted to ensure that TitanFile messages are not blocked.
- Canadian Subscription: notifications@app.titanfile.com
- US Subscription: notifications@us.titanfile.com
- EU Subscription: notifications@eu.titanfile.com
3. Incorrectly typed email address
One mistyped letter will cause an email to go to the wrong address and/or make it undeliverable. Double-check that you have entered your contact's email address correctly to ensure deliverability.
Email Rejection Notifications
Sometimes when you send a file and/or message to clients, the recipient will have a red triangle above their username. This means you have an email rejected error. An email rejected error is an error that allows the channel owner to know that the email address they have added to their channel is invalid. Email addresses can be deemed invalid if:
-
The email address does not exist
-
The email address has a spam filter or domain restriction that does not receive TitanFile email notifications
-
The email address is temporarily disabled resulting in a bounce (i.e. connection error, system disruption, etc.)
To solve this issue, please ensure that you have inputted the correct email address with no typing errors and/or contact the intended recipient's IT support to have TitanFile white-listed, or taken off of the blacklist, to allow them to receive your notification.
Please note that on occasion, the red triangle will linger intermittently after the above errors are resolved to let you know that there was a disruption – and will clear on its own. You will be able to send your messages and files to the intended recipients, without any disruptions.
