You may have a popup or ad blocker enabled.
Overview
If you're experiencing issues when trying to open Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in TitanFile using our Microsoft 365 integration, it may be due to a popup or ad blocker interfering with the document editor.
What’s Happening
When you attempt to open or preview a Microsoft 365 document from TitanFile, the file editor loads in a secure window. Some ad blockers or popup blockers may prevent this window from loading, which can make it seem like nothing is happening when you try to open or preview a Microsoft document.
How to Resolve It
To successfully preview and open and your files in TitanFile with Microsoft 365:
Option 1: Whitelist TitanFile
Allow TitanFile in your ad blocker or popup blocker settings.
Add your TitanFile login domain to your allowlist (trusted sites):
Example - https://app.titanfile.com
Most ad blockers have a way to allow popups or disable blocking for specific sites. Look for an "Allowlist" or “Trusted Sites” section in your extension settings.
Option 2: Temporarily Disable Your Ad Blocker
You can pause or disable your ad blocker while working in TitanFile:
- Click the ad blocker icon in your browser’s toolbar.
- Choose "Pause on this site" or "Disable on this site."
- Refresh your TitanFile tab and try again.
Note: Disabling your blocker entirely is not recommended across all sites—only do so temporarily or specifically for TitanFile.
