The TitanFile Secure Send add-in for Outlook™ revolutionizes the way you manage secure communications. This integration allows users to send files of any size from Outlook while increasing the level of security of such communication. Using Secure Send, Outlook users can bypass Outlook's 25 MB attachment size limit while leveraging TitanFile's award-winning security to send messages and files directly to their TitanFile channels. The integration offers a seamless experience, ensuring users can continue using their familiar Outlook interface while benefiting from TitanFile's robust security and collaboration features.
What You Can Do with It Today

- Login using email and password with 2FA for added security.
- Login using SSO for seamless single sign-on experiences.

- Use Secure Send to create a new channel in TitanFile or send to an existing channel.

How to Install Secure Send for Outlook using Outlook Add-in Manager (Admins - Manual Single Installation)
Admins can deploy Secure Send organization-wide using Outlook Add-in Manager:
Manual Single Installation:
1. Download the Secure Send XML Manifest from the TitanFile Integrations Tab (Admin only)
2. Go to this URL -> https://outlook.office.com/owa/?path=/options/manageapps
3. Click on My add-ins

- At the bottom, click -> Add a custom add-in-> "add from file"

4. Upload the manifest you downloaded earlier from TitanFile and select 'Install'
Deploying via Microsoft Admin Center (Admins)
- Download the Secure Send XML Manifest from the TitanFile Integrations Tab (Admin only).
2. Open Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- Navigate to Menu > Settings > Integrated Apps
Note: If you do not see 'Settings', click "Show all"
3. Once in deployed apps, click 'upload custom app'
4. Select "Office add-in"
5. Select 'Upload Manifest File' and upload the Secure Send XML file
6. Assign it to users and click 'Next'

- Accept permission requests and click 'Next'
- Select "Finish deployment"

Note: Users will see the Secure Send button appear in Outlook. (might take a few hours to fully propagate to everyone in the organization)
How to Log In to Your TitanFile Account Using Email and Password in Outlook?
- In Outlook, click on “New mail”
2. From the ribbon menu, select the TitanFile logo to open TitanFile’s Secure Send
3. Click on the “Login” button
4. Select the existing default domains you normally log in with or enter a custom domain
5. In the popup, input your email and password
- Click “Log in”
Note: You will be redirected back to Outlook, where you will now be logged in to your TitanFile account.
How to Log In to Your TitanFile Account Using SSO in Outlook?
- In Outlook, click on “New mail”
2. From the ribbon menu, select the TitanFile logo to open TitanFile’s Secure Send
3. Click on the “Login” button
4. Select the existing default domains you normally log in with or enter a custom domain
5. In the popup, select "Or Login With SSO" to authenticate via SSO
Note: You will be redirected back to Outlook, where you will now be logged in to your TitanFile account.
How to Create a New Channel in TitanFile by Using the Secure Send Button in Outlook?
- In Outlook, click on “New mail”
2. From the ribbon menu, select the TitanFile logo to open TitanFile’s Secure Send
3. Leave the dropdown on the default option “Create New Channel”
4. In the Outlook compose screen, add an email to the “To:” field
5. Fill in the subject line (this will be the name of the channel in TitanFile)
6. Compose a message
7. Click on Secure Send
Note: In TitanFile, you will see the new channel created with the contacts added from the “To:” field and the subject line as the channel name.
How to Create a New Channel and Attach a Large File in TitanFile by Using the Secure Send Button in Outlook?
- In Outlook, click on “New mail”
2. From the ribbon menu, select the TitanFile logo to open TitanFile’s Secure Send
3. Leave the dropdown on the default option “Create New Channel”
4. In the Outlook compose screen, add an email to the “To:” field
5. Fill in the subject line (this will be the name of the channel in TitanFile)

6. Click on the “Attach Large Files” button to bypass Outlook's 25MB file size limit
7. Click on Secure Send
Note: In TitanFile, you will see the new channel created with the contacts added from the “To:” field, the subject line as the channel name, and the attached file.
How to Send a Message to an Existing Channel in TitanFile Using Outlook?
- In Outlook, click on “New mail”
2. From the ribbon menu, select the TitanFile logo to open TitanFile’s Secure Send
3. Click on the dropdown to see a list of all your existing channels from TitanFile
4. Select an existing channel
Note: The “To:” field and subject line will be pre-populated with the existing channel's contacts and name.
5. Compose a message
6. Click on Secure Send
In TitanFile, you will see your existing channel updated with your new message.
How to Send a Message and Attach a Large File to an Existing Channel in TitanFile Using Outlook?

- In Outlook, click on “New mail”

3. Click on the dropdown to see a list of all your existing channels from TitanFile
4. Select an existing channel
Note: The “To:” field and subject line will be pre-populated with the existing channel's contacts and name.
5. Add a new contact to the “To:” field
6. Compose a message
7. Click on Secure Send
8. Confirm that you are adding the contact to the existing channel in TitanFile.
Note: In TitanFile, you will see your existing channel updated with your new message and new contact added to the channel.
How to Remove a Contact from an Existing Channel in TitanFile Using Outlook?
- In Outlook, click on “New mail”
2. From the ribbon menu, select the TitanFile logo to open TitanFile’s Secure Send
3. Click on the dropdown to see a list of all your existing channels from TitanFile
4. Select an existing channel
Note: The “To:” field and subject line will be pre-populated with the existing channel's contacts and name
5. Remove a contact from the “To:” field
6. Compose a message
7. Click on Secure Send
8. Confirm that you are removing the contact from the existing channel in TitanFile.
Note: In TitanFile, you will see your existing channel updated with your new message and contact removed from the channel.
How to Edit TitanFile Channel Name Using Outlook?
- In Outlook, click on “New mail”
2. From the ribbon menu, select the TitanFile logo to open TitanFile’s Secure Send
3. Click on the dropdown to see a list of all your existing channels from TitanFile
4. Select an existing channel
Note: The “To:” field and subject line will be pre-populated with the existing channel's contacts and name.
5. Change your subject line
6. Compose a message
7. Click on Secure Send
8. Confirm that you are editing the existing channel name in TitanFile.
Note: In TitanFile, you will see your existing channel updated with your new message and updated channel name.
